The Milking Devon is a breed of cow used by the Pilgrims for milk, meat and work. They were developed from the first cows imported to Plimouth Plantation in 1623, from Devonshire, England. Through the years the line has been bred to create a genuine triple-purpose animal able to survive and be productive with minimal management under harsh conditions.
