The Partridge Plymouth Rock is a breed of chicken that is on the watch list of the American Livestock Breeds Conservancy. There are estimated to be fewer than 10,000 of these birds worldwide. They were developed in North America in the mid 1800's and were first shown as a breed in 1869. The Plymouth Rock is one of the foundation birds for the broiler industry.
