Tractor Pull

The Bolton Fair's tractor pulls in the pulling arena is always a popular activity to watch. What a great turnout we had last year at the Farm Tractor Pull. This year we expect even a larger turnout and the pulling sled will be back again. The Farm Tractor pull will be on Saturday and the Garden Tractor Pull on Sunday.

Beer Garden

To enable fairgoes that want to enjoy a drink responsibly at the Fair, while at the same time keeping the environment a great family experience that the Bolton Fair has become known for, the Bolton Fair will be hosting a Beer and Wine Garden. Drinks may be consumed only within the designated area with proper ID from 12 Noon to 7 PM daily. Seating and entertainment is also being provided. Be sure to stop by and enjoy your favorite Beer or Wine. We will be offering local favorites at a reasonable price.

Groups and performers such as BONES & the King's Busketeers, Jilly Martin and Ryan Brooks Kelly, Amber Waves Band, Elizabeth and Ben Anderson, The Blue Sky Boys and others will be performing at various times throughout the fair.

Horse & Oxen Pulling Contests

Our long-time tradition of hosting Horse & Oxen Pulls will continue again this year. Watch these gentle giants amaze you with their strength and abilities. As always, the Horse Pull is on Saturday and the Oxen Pull is on Sunday.

Cracked Walnuts

New this year and strolling around the fairgrounds for your entertainment – Cracked Walnuts. Jeff and Jan Ausfahl worked behind the scenes of Broadway and film musicals in New York City. Then they moved to the hills of Pennsylvania. Jeff replaced his fancy jazz guitar with a banjo and frying pan. Jan stopped using city-slicker words and picked up the washboard and penny whistle. Keep an eye out as you'll find them playing their music the old fashioned Americana way around the fair.

Livestock Exhibit

The Livestock Shows and Exhibit under the pole barns and tents is where you'll see animals and their owners compete for the blue ribbon. From sheep and cows to rabbits and chickens, we've got them all (pigs too).

Lance Gifford

Be prepared to laugh uncontrollably as the Lance Gifford and Company brings you comedic relief with his Magic Show & Hypnosis Show.

The show is electric and non-stop laughs. If you've never seen a hypnosis show this is one of the best. Volunteers from the audience provide the entertainment as Lance hypnotizes them and gives them suggestions. In addition to the Hypnosis Show, Lance entertains you with his magic and illusions that will keep you guessing and questioning what you just saw.

Fiddler Contest

And the Bolton Fair wouldn't be complete without the Fiddler Contest on Sunday. Local fiddlers of all ages come and compete. Truly a fan favorite and since the crowd has outgrown the Fiddler's tent, this year they are moving into the Pavilion for a truly memorable experience.

WHAT IS A FIDDLE CONTEST?  Fiddlers gather to compete against other fiddlers in their age group.  Most fiddlers use it as a reason to practice so they get better! It is truly fascinating to watch the fiddlers take the stage.

... and much more, so come and share the fun!
