Aunt Mimi – Back at the Bolton Fair this year is one of our all time favorites: Aunt Mimi. An up-tempo, acoustic guitar duo performing pop hits with a rock edge. They cover material from the present decade to as early as the 1950s -- from the Jayhawks and Guster to the Kinks and the Everly Brothers. They combine harmony singing, varied guitar arrangements, and a wide range of styles in a way that keeps audiences listening and anticipating the next tune. Aunt Mimi's overall sound incorporates American rock ballads, British pop, and country. They will be performing Saturday afternoon in the outdoor stage.

The Jolly Rouges – Performing on Sunday, this talented band of musicians and singers has a varied, intriguing repertoire of 18th and 19th Century material from period commemorative, tavern/drinking, romantic ballads, sea shanties, children's ditties, Irish tunes and songs. The Rogues are carving out a unique niche in local musical entertainment. Make them a part of your Bolton Fair experience.

Livestock Exhibit

The Livestock Exhibit under the pole barns is where you'll see animals and their owners compete for the blue ribbon. From sheep and cows to rabbits and chickens, we've got them all (pigs too). Stop by to see the Chick Hatchery while you're there.

Fiddler Contest

And the Bolton Fair wouldn't be complete without the Fiddler Contest on Sunday. Local fiddlers of all ages come and compete. Truly a fan favorite and since the crowd has outgrown the Fiddler's tent, this year they are moving into the Pavilion for a truly memorable experience.

WHAT IS A FIDDLE CONTEST?  Fiddlers gather to compete against other fiddlers in their age group.  Most fiddlers use it as a reason to practice so they get better! It is truly fascinating to watch the fiddlers take the stage.

... and so much more so come and share the fun!
