Lost Arts Collaborative

The Bolton Fair has a long and rich history of protecting and preserving traditional American farm and domestic arts that have made the fair so widely recognized across New England. With the addition of the blacksmith shop, we have been creating a craft village of working artisans. Our goal is to help even more lost and endangered arts to thrive in our changing economy and increase awareness of these artisans to our patrons with the Lost Arts Exposition. We can only do this with your help.

Here's how you can help support our "lost arts" mission:

The Bolton Fair and the Lost Arts Collaborative need your help in identifying lost artisans, practitioners, performers, reenactors, educational guilds, and other similar organizations. This will enable us to showcase our most valuable cultural heritage assets to visitors at the fair.

If you are an artisan who would like to demonstrate your craft at the Bolton Fair, we want to hear from you. We will work with all exhibitors to explain our requirements regarding the categorization of works of art, crafts, demonstrations, exhibits, products and merchandise in order to maintain and sustain a high level of professionalism and authenticity. The Bolton Fair, Inc. and The Lost Arts Collaborative reserve the right to make appraisals (and final judgments) to the best of our organizational abilities in order to screen products, demonstrations, exhibitions, educational curricula, etc.

If you consider yourself to fall into a category described above, or know of anyone that we should reach out to - we would love to hear from you at info@boltonfair.org
